I'm not voting for ANY candidate whose campaign smears an opponent.
And that, to quote Edith Ann, is the truth.
and -- ps -- I never, ever, listen to recorded phone spiels. Does anyone actually listen to them? Really? And change their mind in your favor? I doubt it........ Stop making me go to the phone. Please.

And I know exactly what you mean on both counts.
Our primary was yesterday. So that should cut down on it for a while.
Sooooooo much money spent on elections.
Surely wish they could bring that to a dead halt. Hard to see how it is a valuable use of resources......

I think most advertising is dumb and a waste. And the political advertising is so often offensive.
I wonder what percentage of people actually change their minds in favor of candidates because of advertising.......
