October 21

.

One of my neighbors had some serious bad luck of the water/sewer kind.  Their yard was totally torn up, and then there was a Very Big hole in the street.

Our street was re-paved just a few years ago.  Somehow I bet that the patch of this hole will not hold up as well as the rest of the street.  Alas.  (Note large saw, right center..........)

Zelkova.

Rose.

Linden.

I picked up this leaf, to move it to a clear spot on the sidewalk.  It was wet.  When I put it down, I drew that damp line at the tip of the leaf......

Too much traffic and too many parked cars on Washington Street for me.  I'm glad I live a bit farther from downtown.

Lilac, with maple backdrop.

Oak, in the sunshine.

A few nice things from the windows of the Ann Arbor Art Association (or whatever it is calling itself these days!).

Love this.  It is rather large -- over a foot tall.  Love the shape, love the decoration.

Love the shape and decoration here, too.  Also large.  A bit taller than the prev, I think.

Isn't this birch-bark effect cool?  Love the watery color in the bowl, too.

Almost next door to the AAAA -- Acme Mercantile.

The Justice League were my favorite comic characters, when I was a kid.  Especially Wonder Woman........

No one sitting at these tables the morning of the 21st -- it rained during the night............

Fancy grass with red seeds against a red-brick wall.

Pining-for-the-fjords plant, in ceramic container.

Two images of the same coneflower.  The first has better color, but less focus (and has been poster-edged).  Naughty bits more visible in larger versions...........
