About Me
- I need orange
- Helen Frankenthaler is an artist who does abstract prints. One is called "I Need Yellow." I love contrast, and I love saturated color. When choosing a blog name, I tried "iloveorange" which was taken, and then I remembered Helen and went for ineedorange.

I forwarded a link to your blog to my best friend back east, who has a parrot that looks very much like the one in the video. My friend also loved the "Whee!"

That video makes me chuckle every time I look at it. "Wheee!" :-)

There was a cockatiel in the after-school-care room when my daughter was in elementary school. It seemed like a very nice bird. It produced several sounds that originated with humans (wolf whistle, etc) but I never heard it use words.
