Your macro photos will never cease to amaze me. This could be a single bulb along a long strand of Christmas lights - or, it could be a single light standing solitary in the middle of a frozen landscape. Love the shadow too. Once again, you've managed to make something that would have ordinarily seemed cold feel warm.

I wasn't thinking "solstice" when I took this, but when I thought about doing a "solstice" post, I realized this would be perfect.....
I took it the when I walked home on the 15th, and got all of those "lights at night" pics.
