The 28th was a much more pleasant day for a walk than the 26th.
Not as cold, and not as windy.
Back to West Park.
There are several very large old oaks in the park.
It was clearly visible in person, but I can't tell from these pics that the surface of the pond was frozen.
Above, we looked at some of the oaks from the south. These are the same trees, from the west. With band shell.
One last look at this tree. I mentioned before that it had a green-painted "take this down" mark. It came down during the first week of December.
Another look at the autumn clematis seeds.
