I stopped at the bank, briefly, and enjoyed its brand-new hand-painted embellishment. Love all the swirls.....

I need orange said...: If I have to sit in an office, I am SO glad to have and office with a window!!! :-)

And if that window lets me see distant clouds, even better.

Penni, when I read your "wish my back" comment, I was truly baffled. :-)

There is a local painter who hires himself out to paint the windows of businesses. Especially at this time of year, but I've seen other sorts of painting at other times of the year.

He does a lovely job, and our town is much fancier as a result of his efforts!

And my bank -- it's local. Really. Still. In this day and age. Locally owned, locally managed..... Love it. This isn't really a small town, but the branch manager and I have gotten to know each other.
