We got snow on December 12 (the day of the swim meet). It stayed, right up to the end of the month. That's not usual for December. Not rare, but it's more likely that it will melt within a week or so.
The last day of the year (and the first day of the new year) were very warm, for Ann Arbor in late December. Mid-40s (F).
The snow disappeared in a hurry.
Hey, look! Bits of blue!
Even stranger. Some of Mama Nature's yellowest yellow.

Oh my. The yellow. And oh my. The water drop. Wow.
:-) Thanks! So surprised to see that dandelion! You can tell that the snow covered the ground early (before it was even technically winter) and then stayed there for weeks. Underneath snow, the grass can stay green and the dandelions can stay yellow, which they can't, exposed to the frigid air......
The camera and I have Discussions about what to focus on, when I'm trying for something like the water drop. :-) I may get 3 or 4 (or more) focused on the background for one on the drop.....
:-)
Persistence is (nearly) everything.
I am coming to think that is one of the keys to life.......
