Walking to work. Trying to show that the snow sparkles.... The lightest spots really do look like colorless glitter, or like mica bits.  They have rainbow glints of color, in the sunlight.
Doll-size Adirondack, on snowy porch.
Mardi Gras beads, in a snowy tree.
These beads have been here for years.  I can't remember if they had color when they first went up.....
Looking uphill, west on Washington.
Snowy trees and lights, downtown.
One of the cool things about Ann Arbor is that there is always something going on.  I feel like a total slug, when I look at all the activity that I do not take advantage of.
On the 12th, I got myself out at lunch time to participate in the opening event of this semester's theme ... water.
The guys at the table are using water (in its solid state) as percussion instruments.
The result was lively and fun.
It was cold out.  I didn't stay until the bitter end, but I was glad I got myself out to see/hear it.
Western horizon, from my office.

You really have gotten a bit of snow! I love the shot of the Adirondack chair. And the Mardi Gras beads.
It's been an interesting winter -- not really all that much snow, but it has stayed cold, so the snow we've gotten has stayed and stayed. Much more than usual.
Last week it seemed like we got an inch almost every day. But the total was still only 7 or 8 inches.
Compared with the hammering some people are getting, we've got nothing to say.
:-)
