.
A snowy morning.
Office coleus, stretching up to look out the window at falling snow.
Looking at the tops of the leaves, soaking in green and fuchsia.
Another bud. I don't know what this is (I may have the info on a tag....). I hope this bud does better than the last one, which tried, but gave up before it really became a flower.
Clementine, on my desk.
It cleared up, for a short while in the afternoon.
Did you spot the two birds, perched in the prev? Too small to be crows; not sure what they are.
The clouds came back as the sun set.
Looking west in the next two.
Looking south.

Oh Spring, where are you? :)
As long as I am warm enough when I am inside (and don't have to drive when it's scary), I am fine with winter.
It is noticeably lighter in the evenings now.
I am ok with no fleas/yellowjackets/etc, love eating winter food (oven on? OK! :-) ), LOOOOOOVE having the house closed up -- makes it harder to hear all the noise Noise NOISE *NOISE* from the neighbors. Love having the water be cold from the tap. Love watching my world be transformed by a snowfall.
Winter is ok with me. :-) Especially as it's already not as dark as it was. :-)

It's amazing how much more observant I am now that I'm blogging.
Thank you, Vicki, for pointing out all of the good things about winter.
Almost 30 years ago I had a bet with a co-worker -- I said it was "more lighter" in the evenings at this time of year than in the mornings.
She said that was impossible.
I said it was my Observation!
So we bet lunch on it, and I won.....
:-)
I'm glad to remind people of the good points of winter.
Surely nothing is better than sitting in the sun in winter, with a cup of tea and a novel..... Glancing out when it pleases me, soaking up the rays coming in through the (double pane!) window.....
:-)
