Getting ready to run Saturday errands.
Books to return to library, gathered. Re-usable milk bottles, rinsed and packed for transport back to the grocery. Slippers off. Boots on.
Stadium Ace Hardware in Ann Arbor has a delightful kitchen section. Lots of color, lots of good design, lots of excellent stuff. The foodie and I spent a happy hour or so admiring and enjoying all the goodies. "I'll take this whole rack, and one of each from that rack, and six of each from that other rack........"
We were good; we got only the things we'd meant to get, plus one $2 fake tangerine to take to my office.
I took no pics at the library, nor at the grocery.
It was the warmest day we'd had since the turn of the year (when all our snow melted in two days).
I was hoping for a lovely long walk after we got home, but I think the wind came up. And the sun was lower in the sky at 3:00 than it had been at 1:00.
It wasn't really that nice out when Wilbur and I took our constitutional. At least the sun was still out.
If I didn't know this house has been pale yellow for decades, I might think they painted it to match their lawn chairs. I suppose they still might have painted it that particular pale yellow to go with the chairs......
You can tell how much warmer it was than it has been by all the liquid water.
