January 29

.

I removed a tiny bit of "too much cyan on the twigs," but otherwise this is a color pic, just as the camera remembers it. Gray, gray, gray.......... You can see why it's been a week since I took any pics.

I love it. Love the grey, too.

I haven't been inspired to take many photos either, right now. It's too dark for my little point & shoot camera to take anything of much value.

Although, Gray IS the new black, this season. *smile*

Thanks, Jennifer. :-)

I don't have any objection to gray, but I really need color to feel like I'm totally present........ :-)

I appreciate monochromatic, but not as an exclusive diet. :-)

I've only had Panasonic digital cameras, so I can't speak to "things in general," but I have been so happy with what my Panasonics can do.

The only thing I really miss, from my film camera, is doing my own focusing.

My vision isn't what it was, back when I used the film camera, so I don't suppose I could actually focus the camera myself and do a better job than the digital auto-focus, hardly ever....... But that doesn't stop me from missing being ABLE to focus on the snowflakes rather than the weave of the coat, or on the icicles rather than the trees behind them.....

Anyway....

My little point&shoot does such a good job. :-) I don't blame it for my malaise.

It's the monochromatic landscape that bores me. And the lack of sunshine makes me feel like "why bother?" I'm sure that's part of it, too.............

Hooray for a sunny day..... (she said, with rainbows in her eyelashes at present! :-) )
