Louisville

Our trip to Louisville was uneventful.  Cloudy, mostly.  Dry, mostly, except that the last half hour or so was wet, and then wetter.

They have had way too much water here.

The expressway is RIGHT next to our hotel.  (I hope it doesn't keep me awake at night!)  The river is just on the other side of the expressway.  Or, at least, that's where it's supposed to be.  At present, the road under the expressway is flooded, and the river is under the expressway.

There is an extensive riverside park.  I had thought I'd spend some time there, walking along the river, but I forgot my wetsuit.......

It was still raining when we ventured out for dinner, so hardly any pics so far.  I can see that there is some interesting architecture.  I hope I get some good weather for cameras to be out and about!

I do have an umbrella.......
