March 11

.

Another day, another inch and a half of snow.....

Another "not at work day," another trip to Jackson, another attempt to get the car aligned (or whatever!) so it doesn't pull left.

I decided to leave Julia at home, so she wouldn't be contaminated by the annoyance of the day.

I brought Peter, who ,long beloved, has been read so many times that I won't associate him with any of this.

Time passes.....................

I started at the beginning of the book.  You can see that I was on page 167 when I took this pic.............  (I admit that I skimmed the parts that were strictly about interviewing people about the murder.)

At least the sun has come out and dried up the roads......

Tragically, the car still pulls left.  I expressed my dissatisfaction to the owner of the dealership, who said that this particular year, this particular model, seems to have this issue, and that the word from the manufacturer is "they tend to do that"............

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I said that wasn't acceptable to me, and he said it wasn't acceptable to him, either.  (Good, good.....)

We are told the car is safe to drive (and I don't think it's worse than it has been for the few months we've had it).

Let's hope so, because we are taking a road trip today.........  (Wibbler staying home with our daughter. We are bound for the spring national bridge tournament in Louisville.)

The owner of the dealership will be contacting the manufacturer (this is the second or third of these he's sold which has this issue....), but nothing can be done before Monday.....

I got home, ate some of my daughter's lovely oatmeal (nothing more comforting than oatmeal, I think), spent a little more quality time with Peter, and headed out into the sunshine with Wibbler.

The "journalistic" "here's how much snow we still have" pic.

The "artistic" excellent trotting-dog shadow (with wet footprints) pic.

Hey!!!!!!

Who knew?????

There are flowers, blooming!, right in my neighborhood.

Snowdrops.
