Another day, another walk.
It was windy, on the 14th, which makes it hard to take closeups of flowers.
Flowering crab.
Another trip through the woods at the bottom of the ravine.
I pulled a big handful of (nasty invasive) garlic mustard, which I then carried home and put in the compostables bin.
Wilbur reports that the smells are different, in the woods. Even in a tiny patch of surrounded-by-suburbia woods.

The girls would LOVE your woods. We used to walk in the woods every day in Maryland. We miss them so much!!! Oh, those wonderful, wonderful smells!
It won't be long before there are too many mosquitoes in there for me to want to go through (especially with all the dawdling to sniff! :-) ), especially with all the rain.
I was glad to take him through when it was still cool and not too many bugs.
:-)
