Some peonies are single.
This one was almost spent -- it only had about half its petals. I liked the bright yellow anthers against the petals, and took several shots.
None were sharp, alas.
On the "exaggerate the flaw, to make it look like a design feature" plan, I have used the watercolor filter on this. And I cropped it.
