July 14

.

So glad to spot this little gal.

Urban honeybee.

See what I mean, "urban"?  Here's the planter holding the flowers she was visiting.

The sun burnt the color out of this image.  That's ok -- the subject goes well with monochromaticity.

The horizontal part of this crane is so long that it goes right over you, as you walk along the side of the post office.  Sort of creepy, I think.  At least none of its loads are out at the end of the ... arm?, so they don't go over you........

I don't generally like to take pics of mechanical urban stuff, but I quite like this one.

Turning slightly to the right, south, away from the sun, we can see the blue sky over the library.

Blue sky out my office window.  Another gorgeous window-open-all-day sort of day.

At one point, I looked out and noticed that the higher clouds were moving east, but the lower ones were headed northwest........  (You can tell, if you check the clouds against the edges of the building, which way the clouds are going.  We are looking southwest, more or less.....

It would be nice if I had a tripod at work, for these moving-cloud shots........

Coneflowers, on the way home.
