About Me
- I need orange
- Helen Frankenthaler is an artist who does abstract prints. One is called "I Need Yellow." I love contrast, and I love saturated color. When choosing a blog name, I tried "iloveorange" which was taken, and then I remembered Helen and went for ineedorange.

They live in Kansas, where the state flower is the sunflower, so I went to the farmers' market looking for a bouquet with sunflowers....
I was very pleased to see this one -- my parents are always on the go. Lobbying (for the health care act, for medicaid, for fairness and adherence to the Constitution), other volunteering, gardening, drawing, setting up art exhibitions, playing pool, going to plays......
I liked the variety of colors and shapes in this gorgeous bouquet, as a way to hint at the variety of things they do and care about.
