In your office? How lucky you are. :) I wish I had a window... :)
Very lucky!!!
My first office at the U had a huge wall-to-wall window. It was on the 4th floor, with an unobstructed view to the west. Trees, mostly. Lovely. That was a newer building, and only the little windows in the hallways opened.
Then they moved us into a windowless basement. Gack. We'll draw a curtain over that episode!
Now we are in a beautiful historic building. It was originally an elementary school. The U owned it for years, and redid the interior, completely, just before we moved in. It is a beautiful building, with HUGE (5x8???) windows, which OPEN. !!!!! (Because of the historical designation, they had to open. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!)
The view from my office used to be an unobstructed one to the south, but (before it was my office) they added a wing. Now there is more office, straight out my window, but if I look to the southwest, I can see the horizon. Much better than a sharp stick in the eye (or a windowless dungeon!).
I think it's creepy that the people in the offices in the new wing can look at me whenever they want. I need to bring in a piece of lace curtain or a piece of fancy paper, or something, and tape it over that part of the window!
