Walking home on the 23rd.

Shrub with very red leaf stems. I wonder if these stems were this red, before the leaves started to turn. Maybe next year I'll remember to pay attention.

Fall.

Orange.  Maple (as was the prev.)

Kale, after the rain.  Love those purple veins on the green leaves.

Close crop of prev.  I wondered if there would be clear reflections in the drop, once I got my image on "the big screen."  Pleased.

I am not a hearts-and-ruffles sort of person.  If I were, I might like to use this shape in collage.

As it is, I like the color better than the shape.
