We had some very hot days at the end of August and the beginning of September.
On the 4th, it was considerably cooler, thank goodness.
Wilbur has felt much springier in the cooler weather, I am happy to report!

Our power was out from 7:54 pm on the 3rd until about noon on the 5th.
We went out for a sandwich on the 4th. If we'd known they had wi-fi and plenty of electrical outlets, we'd have taken the laptop with us, and might have stayed a lot longer!
It was a lovely evening.
