October 15

.

Farmers' market.

This is the same vendor who has the orange and green striped pumpkins.

Love the gourds on the lace......

Dahlias.

Gorgeous cutting boards.  I could never cut on one of these!

I think the top right one is my fave.

Bouquets.  COLOR!!!

Winter squash.

Showing this despite blur -- the contrast between hot-weather eggplant, and cold weather gourds, both in profusion......

Love.  Zinnias.

Tomatoes, squash blossoms, peas, lima beans, summer squash.

Pasta!

Peppers.

Oh my.  The biggest rutabagas I've ever seen!  These would hold a volleyball, I think....

Really good (and very pretty) eggs.

Peppers!

Love this idea -- peppers and everlasting, for a bouquet that will keep!

I've seen those pale orange pumpkins with the warts, but not the ... um ... whatever that white thing is, on top of the pumpkin!

Doesn't this look good!

Ahhh.

The world's coolest vegetable!  Romanesco.

So excellent, it's painful to cut it up for cooking.

Letting it rot would be Wrong, though.  This is a member of the broccoli family, with a similar taste.

More color.  Starting to feel rather desperate about capturing every  bit of color I see.....

Walking.  Wish I could share the scent as readily as I can share the sight and sound.....
