At lunchtime I went to the art-supply store to get some watercolor paper. It's really expensive, as paper goes....

I bought one pad of paper with a name I recognized (or perhaps a knockoff with a similar name to a Real Watercolor Paper name...). I bought another little pad of paper that was lighter weight, and quite cheap.

This is the cheap one. I hate it. Gray -- who knew, you had to check for that! Too much texture. It soaks up the paint as much as the cardstock I used the previous two days. Nasty.

This is the result when wet.  The colors are lighter and different, now that it's dry, just like the cardstock.....
