Looking through the conservatory windows (and screens) at the "wild" plants that are outside.
Inside. Bromeliads.
Very big triangular leaves. (with other sorts of leaves in the background)
Heart shape, with a tail.
You know how they have leaf skeletons for sale, in places like Michaels, to use in collage? Well, they do, and after I looked this closely at this leaf, I saw a leaf skeleton in someone's collage. It had the same outside shape as this leaf, and the same shape for the network of veins, too.... I bet it was the same kind of plant as this......
More flowers!
See the clouds of mist, near the roof? This is the tropical room......
In addition to the sidewalks at ground level, there are above ground (about one story up) sidewalk paths along both sides of the tropical and temperate rooms. I was up on one of those when I took this bunch of pics.
More heart shapes, with a completely different sort of network of veins.
More flowers. Or, incipient flowers, I should say. Something else to go back, soon, to see.
Coleus.
Anthurium.
Looking out through the conservatory windows at a nearby greenhouse. The Gardens make some income, selling plants they grow. You can see a group of poinsettias, waiting to move into the gift shop.
More leaves.........
Look at this venerable monstera! I really wished its tag told when it "started," the way they told us when the bansai trees started.......

I can just smell the wonderfulness in there. Aaah.
So lovely to go into warm, humid space, when the outdoors is cold and the indoors (in most places) is dry.
I'm sure our bodies can perceive all the extra oxygen in there, too.
