Another fiery dawn. Not as much so as the previous day, but still.

It was an astonishing day.  I walked downtown for a meeting.  I stepped out of the house in a fleece and a windbreaker.  I turned right back around, went inside, and lost the fleece.

By the time I'd gone several blocks, I took off the windbreaker.  Here I am, on January 6, in a tshirt........

On the way home after the meeting.  I didn't bother to put the windbreaker on.  It was chillier than on the way down, as the sun was lower, but it seemed like too much trouble to get the windbreaker out of my pack.....

Ooh!  Look!  A real flower!

Hellebore.

This was pretty close to the ground.  I held the camera down and pointed it into the flower.

Out-take.  Here's what happens when you point at the trees more than at the middle of the flower.  The camera focuses on the trees overhead, not on the flower.....
