There is moss everywhere. I think it liked the mild winter.

From teeny tiny plants to (much bigger) little plants. Winter aconite. That tree trunk is about 10" in diameter, I think.
It's very hard to take pics of yellow things in full sunlight............ Especially with a dark background......

I am so very fond of your beautiful flower photos I've been checking out -- and yes! Michigan moss is going great guns! I even spotted some in early February! With today's relatively warm if windy day, it should be even more! Hoping the weekend brings nice weather for good walks!

Even the grass never completely died, this "winter," and the moss has been very happy.
I am finding it scary for it to be so hot in mid-March. I hate to think what summer may bring.....
