Now here is something I'd never seen before.............
A little grafted tree, with pussy willow branches!
The tree was about 2' tall. I suppose the trunk must be some sort of willow..... But I don't know. I've never heard of grafted willows, but I don't know much about the subject of willows. I don't know much about grafting, either, but have only heard of fruit trees (or decorative varieties, of cherries, say) that have been grafted.
Mom, if you lived here, I would totally have bought this for you. :-)
