My daughter took a puff pastry class from Zingerman's Bakehouse. This is one of the palmiers she brought home. The light is very harsh, but I wanted to show the way the sugar sparkled.....
I've never been much a pastry fan, but I'm starting to think maybe it's because I'd never had very good pastry. These were yummy...............
Just what I need -- to develop a taste for puff pastry (which is LOADED with butter.....)..............
