The 18th was Saturday; we went to the library.
I think of this end as "the back," as it is farthest from the front door. But the building runs parallel to the road ... maybe this is one side, rather than the back?
Looking out the east wall of the Pittsfield branch of the library, over the pond.
You can't see this enormous spidery work of art in the above, but it's the reason we're looking out this window.... (as always, click on any pick to embiggen)
Not only is this web large and lovely -- its builder is apparently quite successful, going by the evidence of a lot of ... stuff ... in the web. I'm betting the "stuff" is caught bugs, or itty bitty baby spiders. Or both......
Walking. Our weather broke, at last, caloo, callay.
We had significant rain, over a couple of days, and it's much cooler.
Michigan weather, at last!
Near the beginning of my usual mile-plus loop. It's uphill from here about half-way around the loop, then steeply up, and steeply down, finishing with a very gradual downhill the rest of the way home.
If I walk briskly, it's a bit of cardio, a little real cardio, and then easier the rest of the way home.
Then when I get home, I collect my novel, and the dog, and we
mosey for another quarter mile or so. I cool down, and he sniffs to his
heart's content.....
