.
On the 2nd I walked downtown to have lunch with some of my work buddies. It was warm, but not awful.
I was a little early for lunch, so I wandered around taking a few pics.....
They have (FINALLY!) finished filling in the Annarborsbad Cavern. I believe it is mostly full of parking structure. You couldn't pay me to park six stories underground......
At present, there is a little bit of parking on top, where there used to be a rather large parking lot. Tower Plaza, at left, and the red bricks at right are the library. That brick building in the middle is a brand-new student apartment building.
I didn't see the unicyclist (just above things-to-which-one-locks-bycycles) until I got this up on "the big screen."
Flags.
In the pavement, near the library.
We had a good lunch at Jerusalem Garden. We shouldn't let it be so long between lunches!!!
Walking home.
Hibiscus.
Love the shadow.
Oooh! Finally got a nice closeup of the naughty bits.
Now I'm walking with Willard.
Oak-leaf hydrangea.
This is a large, but excellent shrub. Its owner told me, last fall, that it is interesting in every season, and she loves it.
It must be 10-12' tall.....
Japanese anemone.
Still Japanese anemone. Tall, for a herbaceous plant. Over 5'.
I am starting to think it is just Wrong that there are still daylilies, but I still love them.
