July 25

.

On Wednesday the 25th, I was dropped at the farmers' market.

First stop, as always, our very favorite vendors:  Kapnicks.  Their fruit is unparalleled, and when they have other things (last year's green beans!!!), they are excellent, too.  These blueberries were fabulous..................  And the peaches were yummy, too.

Across the way from Kapnicks' we find the Goetzes.  We love their produce.....

The display was especially gorgeous on the 25th..........

These beans were delicious.

There are always bakeries represented at the market.  Aren't these pretty?

Hooray for tomatoes and herbs!

Who says you can't get fresh greens in hot weather?  It has certainly been HOT, and here we can get chard, and kale(?), and I don't know what's in the lower right corner.....

Love this 60s-look hair salon.  I don't remember ever noticing those excellent finials before.

This BLUE house is just down Miller from Be Hair Now.

Cloud fingers.

I do not know what this is.  Naturally, the closeup caught my eye.

But this time I remembered to get the medium-distance shot, too.  I have no idea what this is!  It's very tall for an herbaceous plant.  And look at the enormous leaves!

Morning glory.

I essentially always take three shots in a row of the same image.  This time a fly landed on my flower.

The shadow is my favorite part of this image.

Sunflower.

A closer look at the base of a morning glory bloom.

Almost home, now.  Chicory at the edge of a school property.

Another bright blue sky, on another too-hot-for-me day.
