All day yesterday I could not get at my blogger management page. When I tried to get there, I got to a "we don't know you; create a profile" page. This morning I emptied my Firefox cache, and emptied my Firefox cookies, and restarted the computer. (Firefox has thought it was happy throughout.)
I got the same "create a profile" page when trying to get at my blog.
The next thing I tried was logging out of my email. My former employer has some kind of deal with Google to run its email. It's mostly standard gmail, I think, but with a log-in interface that looks just like it used to when my former employer ran its own email.
Once I logged out of my email, and signed in to google with my old pre-email-switch Google account, I could get to my blogger management page. So my conclusion was correct that there was some interference between my new Google account (set up by someone else to hold my email account) and my old Google account (created by me, many moons ago, so I could start my blog). (I was wondering why there wasn't a huge hue and cry about this, but given how few people there are in this exact situation......)
Anyway -- I can get at my blog management now that I can't get at my email, now I can't upload any pics to the blog.
Sigh, and ARGH.
Sheesh.

So sorry, Vicki -- because I know you're frustrated AND because I will miss out in a Fall day in Michigan. My blog is on WordPress, but my blog roll is on a Blogger page. I cannot tell you how many issues I've had with the blogroll page.
It seems to me that blogger chugs along just fine for months and months, and then they take it into their minds to changes something, and it's afu for a day or two.
It's better now -- I can actually upload pics -- but the blog-management page is still not right. (Pics upload, now, and attach to posts, but if I ever leave the "compose" view, they only appear on the "compose" page as broken-pic icons.)
The html view looked fine, so I tried publishing despite the broken-pic icons, and it seems to work. But getting the right words with the right pic is something I need to do before I ever leave compose view.........
I keep reminding myself that I get a LOT more than I'm paying for.....
:-)
