All the leaves are brown.

And the sky is gray.

The nights are really long.

Much longer than the days.



This time of year's depressing,
But we walk anyway.

Trying to find color
Somewhere along the way.

Luckily, we can bring up almost invisible color once we get home......

I was hoping more saturation would bring up those crossed stems.  This is my favorite part of the above.

I actually did find a modicum of color, on the 10th.  Thank goodness for roses, eh?
