Heading out to run some errands.  We were almost out of dog food.  Can't have that!

And -- I cracked the whip over myself and made myself buy some new shoes.  The ones I've been walking in are old, old, old, and have no cushion anymore, and are all raggedy.....

Here's what the sky looked like at home before I left, around 3:00.

There were some really cool skies on the way to the shopping center, but, alas, I was driving.

I wish I could thank the person who left this gorgeous big tree in the parking lot at Plymouth Mall................

After my quickie stop for dog food -- about 3:30.

The shoe transaction was quick -- "I need some new ones like these."

The new ones felt good in the store.  I hope they feel good in use.  Especially as they cost about 20% more than I remember spending the last time.

Now it's 3:45.

I decided to reward myself for doing the shoe-shopping with a stop in the yarn store.

Now it's 4:05 pm.  Looking southwest.

I think this was looking east.

Home, ready to walk. I want to wear the new shoes inside, first, so I don't get them dirty and I can take them back if they are awful.  I need to go to the gym for an indoor track, so on the 30th, it was "outside, in old shoes."
