January 22

.

Cold.  Very cold.  Near zero (F).

A neighbor's light, seen between bands of frost-covered glass.

Later.  Frost in the sunlight.....

The windows above, except the neighbor's light, are on the east side of the house (neighbor's light on the south).

The next two are the bathroom window on the west side of the house.  Totally different!  Instead of feathers, ferns, flowers, birds, they make me think of images of smashed atoms....

See that one pair of curved lines, on the left?  Almost all the rest of the lines are straight.  I wonder why just a few are curved...........  And I wonder why the frost here is SO different from the east-side windows!

These are stunning, Vicki!

I especially enjoy them because we have had such crazy--and overly warm--weather. It was 82 on Thursday, in the 60's yesterday, and is supposed to in the 70's and 80's next week. What?!

We need your photos to keep us from dying of heat. ;-)

Thanks!

Yikes! 80s in January! Scary.....

Glad to be of service. :-)

Watch this space. More frost tomorrow and Monday......

:-)

So amazing -- this incredible stuff just ... appears on the windows......
