April 10 -- morning

.

Breakfast!  Parmegiano Reggiano, preserved meats, cereal, ham, eggs from the chickens outside (pics soon), cookies, sweets.....

I think people eat a lot more nuts, raw from the shell, in Italy than they do here.  I saw walnuts, in bulk, in grocery stores everywhere.....

Yogurt, and juices.

Juices, and Santa!

Looking out the side of the breakfast room, at grapevines.

This gal can be seen in the prev.

Foggy/hazy -- so lucky to have had a nice clear night last night!

Chickens in the trees, about 12 or so feet off the ground.  These are big girls.  Any one of them would be an armful of hen.

Fruit trees, and grapevines.

Chicken, with souvenir sign from our hosts' visit to Key West.

Flowers in front of the agritourismo.

Fattoria l'Alpenice was another lovely place to stay.  Recommended!

Driving on to our next adventure.....

Of course all is not fruit trees in blossom, with grapevines.  Not sure what was going on here.....

At least they've got flowering trees.

In the country again.  Grapevines.

Winter wheat?
