One of our neighbors has a little pond.  I usually stop and have a look at the goldfish (which are 8"ish long, after spending several summers out in the pond).  He had just put bullfrogs out by the pond!  He says he's had them every year for the last several years, but this is the first time we'd seen them.  He says you can tell the genders apart because the male has bigger visible ears.  He gets a male and a female every year, and has had pretty good success with them living through the summer and staying by the pond.  (He gets them from a Chinese food place.......)

We live about 2.5 blocks away, and have never heard the frog(s?) singing.......
