June 4

Rhododendron.





Flower pollen is usually out where it is easy to brush against (so it can coat a critter who will carry it to the next flower).  I don't remember seeing pollen inside containers before.....



Iris.



Duck family in the pond at West Park.  There are two families there.  On the 4th, the other family had three ducklings, and this family had eight.



I have no idea what ducklings ought to eat, or what this is, but they were busily working it over.




Walking downtown to have lunch with a buddy.  Fancy fake flowers over a doorway.



Pastel things don't photograph well in strong light....



This is the only time I've ever seen Stargazer lilies growing.  I've seen them in bouquets, but not growing in the ground.




Things with strong color photograph better in strong sun than pastels.....

Poppy, and ... larch?  This tree looks like an evergreen, but its needles are deciduous.....



Fern.
