I took an extra yoga class on the 1st. On my way to class it was raining. I walked through the park. The pond was fuller than I've ever seen it, and there was a blue heron stalking around near the edges. The water was so deep the heron couldn't walk through the middle. Both duck families were in the middle of the pond, wary of the heron.
I think it's amazing that a new pond, in the middle of town, would have a bird as big as a heron in it.....
