hadrosaur chewing, again -- Thank you, University of Alberta!!!

.

One of the TAs in Dino 101 went into the University of Alberta teaching collection (of fossils), and found a fragment of hadrosaur jaw (with teeth), and took pics of it, and posted those pics, in response to my questions on one of the class discussion fora.

!!!

How cool is that -- that she was able to walk into a collection and find explanatory material, and that she took the time and trouble to go do that and show me what she found!!!

Totally excellent!!!  Thank you, University of Alberta -- Dino 101 is extremely well supported by your faculty and staff!!!

I believe I now have a pretty good idea how the whole "tooth battery" plan worked in hadrosaurs!

Thank you!  Deeply appreciative of the time and energy you all are putting into this class!

I did not realize I knew anyone who went there! :-)

I am impressed with the job they are doing with this course! Good to know that other departments are good, too!
