Pumpkins in a lawn extension.  The nearest one is the one we've looked at before.

Japanese anemone (pink flowers), and mystery plant.  I took a closer look at this other plant on the 2nd.  It had a couple more incipient flowers as very tight buds, just beginning to show their yellow petals.  Here's a closer look at a ripe seed pod.  I love this design....  It makes me think of a 50's clock.
