November 20, walking Bert

.

More Secret Garden.  Burt wonders why we've stopped.  I was trying to get a clearer pic, taken while stopped rather than while in motion....

Holly.

Autumn clematis seeds.

Closer.

Even closer.  Love the way the furled wings curve and curl.

It looks to me like these wings get hairier and hairier, as they continue to ripen.

I'm reading down all your posts because I have been a bad blog reader of late! I love everything I see -- you have such a terrific eye for nature photography. I especially love those pods.

And you were right about it being cold -- we went to Northville for the greens market Saturday and I thought I'd get frostbite! I feel cold all the time! I loved your duck photos a post or two back!

Glad Bert seems up to par. You must be relieved! Happy Thanksgiving! (My verification word is toylab! tis the season!)

I know what you mean -- sometimes blog-reading has to take a back seat to other things that are going on.... :-)

Thank you for the kind words, and the kind thoughts behind them. I love those locust pods, too.

I was glad to walk yesterday. I'm not sure it was warmer, but there was no wind, for a change. The older I get, the less I like wind. The cold -- I don't mind. But the wind.........

Yes, I'm glad for every day Bert seems normal. Every little anomaly puts me on high alert......

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too! Toylab certainly is appropriate. Lol...... :-)
