I did not know that there was a concerted, organized effort by the US and Britain to preserve and restore Italy's art and architecture, during and after WWII.
I'm glad to know we thought about this and that we did it.

Can't wait for the film on this one. It was supposed to be December but Clooney backed it up to February. Out of Oscar contention then, most likely (this year for sure) but it will be a welcome thing to have a thoughtful movie in February!
I agree! Looks interesting! I don't like to actually go to movies (too loud, floor too sticky, too many people coming and going, can't pause it when I want to go to the bathroom....), so I wait until the movies can come home from the library. :-)
