Squirrel tracks.
Wet snow makes really good prints. You can see its little toenails, and look at those two pads on its wrist! Who knew.............. I'll have to try to remember to see if I can see the bottom of a squirrel's wrist, the next time I go to a natural history museum......
Hooray for blue sky in winter!
Now here's something you don't see every day.
I'm rather enjoying the contrast between the bright baby toy and all the staples on the old telephone pole.
It has a face on both sides. My better half saw it from this next angle, and concluded it was in time out. I was looking at the angle above, and had no idea what he meant......
Thinking about those Chinese people working at producing Stuff for us. Wondering what they make of our "need" for this sort of thing............ Imagining them going home and telling spouses (or parents? roommates?) "You'll never believe what we made today!"......
Later. Looking south from the study. Sunset.
Looking southwest.

So pretty! Hope you had a lovely Christmas and that 2014 is a wonderful year for you and your family. (And yes, I agree w/ you about the Chinese wondering at some of the goods we purchse!)
Thank you. Same to you!
Love that toy on the pole and those beautiful sunsets. I can't believe I am catching up on so much!
It's nice to have time to be able to catch up, isn't it? :-)
Thanks for the visit and the comments!
