On the 31st, in the late afternoon, I spotted the sun behind clouds and trees.
Unfortunately, the camera was pretty determined to focus on the flaws in the window glass, rather than on the trees! Sigh!
Here's my original.
One good thing about this sort of problem -- it encourages me to try some different things with the pic. This is the fresco filter.
This is the palate-knife filter. I quite like this one (as always, click on any image to embiggen).
Hey! Look! I actually got one where the camera focused on the trees, for me, instead of on the window glass!
It pays to take lots of exposures, especially if the conditions are "other than a plain daylight ordinary outdoor pic"...............

I like that fresco filter. Glad you go the "real deal" too -- they're all fun.
I went through a whole bunch of them, which were all focused on the window glass, and concluded I'd not gotten one single sharp one.
Then I started playing with the filters....
It was only after I did that that I saw the sharp one.
It's probably just as well I didn't see the sharp one -- I might not have messed with the blurry one. :-)
