It snowed all day on the 5th. We had a LOT of snow on the ground, on the 6th (especially as we had several inches, still, from before the 5th).
And it was COLD. Closer to -20 than to -10, by our (analog) thermometer, in the early morning light.
The sun came out on the sixth.
Here's something I haven't been talking about. We shoveled more than 3-4" of snow, twice, on the 5th, and again on the 6th. It was cold enough that the snow was light, but you have to put it somewhere, and the piles kept getting higher and higher.
A closeup of about 15-18" of snow, and a cleared-off sidewalk.......
Window. The bright thing at right is the plastic rod you turn to tilt the venetian blinds one way or another. It's clear plastic, and sometimes catches the sun......
Old dog, enjoying sunshine.
You can tell the dog is old, and/or not a corgi. The corgis would have been running around, just for the love of snow, even when it was dark. Bert doesn't *mind* snow, the way he *minds* rain, but he doesn't love it, either.
Sunset.
