Bored with cold, bored with monochromatic landscapes..........
What if I took a pic with COLOR,
and one with completely different texture,
and played with blending modes? (I have no idea what the blending-mode names mean.....)
I kinda like the results, and I know I'm glad to see COLOR.....................
Color burn.
Color dodge.
Overlay.

What program or website are you using to do these fun things?
Photoshop Elements.
It has HUGE capabilities. I know how to use some of them. I'm pretty accustomed to using a fraction of them.....
It's what I use for everything I do to my pics, from cropping to all of these other things......
