June 21

.

Walking to the farmers' market.  Raised garden in someone's yard. Full sun makes all the difference.......

Daylily!

Love rhubarb and love the drawing.....

I'm not big on pastels, but I love the barely-there pale blue green with the darker yellow-green and the hint of purple.

What a cool way to seal a jar of hot fudge!  Fudgy-looking wax.............

More daylilies.  These pale yellow ones were nearly totally blown out, so I did some messing with this to get it presentable.  I like the reflections in the glass behind the plants.

I was sitting on a bench with the market purchases, waiting for the rest of the party who were inside doing a bit more shopping.  Found (Kerrytown, second floor) is a fun place to shop.

It was a beautiful blue day.

Linden.  I think lindens are my favorite tree.  They smell so good.....

Grocery-store flowers.

It was traditional in my mom's family to have a whole meal of strawberry shortcake at least once each year.  She carried that forward when she had her own kids, and we couldn't let such a good tradition go by the wayside........

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..............
