Much later.  Walking the dog.  Wish I had a high-enough perspective to see the sky with no trees (or wires!) in the way........




The crows were gathering for the night....... 

This is one of the the many things I love about digital photography.  Would I have tried to take pics of the crows in the near-darkness, knowing each image cost me 75 cents (as it did, back in the days of film)?  Probably not.

Would I have learned that the flight of crows can look like this to a camera?  Probably not....



Had I seen a painting that depicted crows in this way, I'd have thought it was all imagination.  Now I know there is pure objective observation in this dreamy view of sky-borne crows..........
