When I went to let the dog out, I noticed that one of the small maples at the back of our yard had lost a good part of its top. Right on the telephone wires.
I don't think there's any electrical involvement, but.......... The house has had two separate telephone lines since before we bought it. One of the two wires is clearly broken....
We have DSL, and I'm talking to you, but who knows how long that can continue.
AT&T tells me that they'll have someone here by 2:00 pm to "take care of it" -- whatever that may mean. But even if "all they do" is chop it up, that will be a lot better than us having to chop it up.
And presumably they'll check to make sure all is well with the wire(s).
We have big compostable bins, here in Ann Arbor. We roll our bins out to the curb and the city picks up the contents every Friday. This is going to be many bins worth. Someone besides us chopping it up would be excellent............
Anyway. Should I disappear from the airwaves, you know why. I have a ready-to-go post scheduled for noonish, and another for tomorrow, but after that..............
