crab apples, glowing edges

Yesterday I showed you this blurry pic of crab apples (the camera chose to focus on the ground, not on the crab apples....).

Yesterday we looked at the above after the "colored pencil" filter had been applied.



Here it is with "glowing edges."   I kinda like the way the parts I intended to be interesting in the original are so dark, here, against that busy, bright background.

I like a lot of what is going on in the background...........



Cropped, to emphasize a part I think is interesting.

Interesting, the way "glowing edges" leaves the background so bright and sharp, and the foreground so dark and blurry.............
